AMERICAN THANKSGIVING – AT THE SHORES; NOV. 26TH, 2015

The crowd starts to mingle

In the same spirit we celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving in October, so do we celebrate American Thanksgiving at The Shores of Maui.  It starts mid afternoon with owners and guests setting up the pool area to accommodate the crowd; we had over 40 people attend this year.  At 5pm people bring down their happy hour beverage and once the sun goes down, we chow down on the food.  This year – 3 turkeys, several bowls of stuffing, vegetables, salads galore and of course desserts – a feast fit for kings and queens.  We had a sing-along of some oldies but goodies, and the evening closed off with the bagpipes and Amazing Grace.  It is a wonderful way of GIVING THANKS for all our many blessings.
